i was commissioned by a local aquarium and wildlife rehabilitation facility, the gulfarium marine adventure park, to paint a mural for the habitat of a rescued burmese python snake. the snake is a juvenile, and was seized from her owner after authorities found that he didn’t have the proper permits to own the snake.

getting the snake into a safe home was the top priority, so i was given a timeline of 7 days to pain the enclosure.

the enclosure is 16’ x 9’.
animal-safe acrylic paint was used.
