the objective of this piece was to illustrate either a recipe for a dish special to me, such as a family recipe, or a map of a location special to us, such as our hometown or our family’s country of origin. i chose to illustrate the recipe of my favorite soup that my mom makes whenever i’m home. along with illustrating all parts of the piece ourselves, i fit the composition within an armature to create better flow and emphasis on key pieces of the illustration.

the final project is 16.7”x6.25” at 300dpi. all illustrations were done by me in procreate with photoshop used to add additional text.
